Frazier endorsed by legendary former Mayor, Paul Tauer

Aurora, CO – Today the Frazier for Aurora campaign announced receiving the highly coveted endorsement of legendary former mayor, Paul Tauer. He is best known as the longest serving mayor in Aurora history and the visionary behind the redevelopment of the former Fitzsimons Army Medical base to the groundbreaking health and bio-science hub of today. “I believe Ryan is the leader we need for Aurora,” said Tauer. “Ryan is honest with a clear vision for Aurora that is needed in these changing times. He loves Aurora, has worked for Aurora, and will build bridges throughout our city that ensures Aurora’s best days are ahead. I ask all of us who care about the future of our city to vote Ryan Frazier for mayor on November 5, 2019.” “I am deeply honored to have earned the endorsement from Mayor Paul Tauer,” said Frazier. “His legacy as mayor is still being realized today through the incredible medical advancements currently taking place at the Anschutz Medical Campus, as well as the education of our next generation of health care professionals at the medical school. Mayor Tauer embodies what it means to be a true champion of Aurora, I will build on his example.” Paul Tauer served as mayor of Aurora from 1987-2003 and remains a resident of Aurora to this day.

Frazier: Why I left the Republican Party after 20 years to become an Independent

In 1858 during the Lincoln-Douglass debates, Lincoln wrote that “public sentiment is everything. With it, nothing can fail. Without it, nothing can succeed...” I believe in building bridges over putting up barriers to unity. I aspire to a more perfect union in our communities, cities and across our country. Today, more than ever, public sentiment overwhelmingly shares this belief.
